Slow-worm Survey Training Day
13 August, 10am-3.00pm,
Mersey Valley Visitors Centre Rifle Road, Sale Water
Park, Sale, Cheshire, M33 2LX. This training event
has been organised by the Amphibian and Reptile Group of
South Lancashire in partnership with Mersey Valley
Countryside Warden Service and with support from the
Herpetological North-east Reptile and Amphibian Field Trip 17 August, Annstead Dunes and Low Newton. Meet at 8am by the post office and "Mace" shop on the coast at Beadnell (grid ref NU 232 295). We will be walking to Annstead Dunes to look for lizards and then south to Low Newton, very possibly stopping off at the Ship Inn on the way. Contact: Naomi Hewitt nerag*yahoo.co.uk.
